An Ecological Study of the Delaware River in the Vicinity of Artificial Island: Progress Report for the Period January-December 1972

This report includes the period from January through December 1972. It is the fifth annual report to Public Service Electric and Gas of New Jersey on the pre-operational phase of the environmental study of the Delaware River in the vicinity of the Salem Nuclear Generating Station (S. N. G. S.). The study began in mid-1968. The plant is scheduled for completion in 1975. The post-operational phase of the study will continue for several years after the plant goes on stream. The study includes the determination of daily and seasonal abundance and distribution of fishes. The primary sampling area centers about and extends four miles north and south of the S.N.G.S. site on Artificial Island, New Jersey, which is located at river mile 50 in the Delaware River
