Introduction. The therapeutic arsenal for ENT cancers includes (depending on the stage of the disease), lymph node involvement (including anatomical and pathological data), surgery, radiotherapy (RT) and chemotherapy (CT), often involving salts of platinum and in particular cisplatin. With the exception of surgery, other treatments are ototoxic and cause sensorineural hearing loss.
