International audienceThe novels entitled Les Alouettes naïves and Tels des astres éteints by Assia and Leonora show us characters in crisis with themselves and the world around them. Those characters who freely chose to leave their birth places have now become prisoners of their past lives there and their present lives in their host country. This article tries to study the way the incredible experience of migration can influence the memory of migrating characters and change their relations or perception with/of the other and the space.
