This is the stand-alone package of CRISPRDB. With the advancement of the CRISPR/Cas9 system for genome editing, it is important to design guide RNAs to target sequences of interest with high efficacy and high specificity. Precompiled gRNAs designed for the coding sequence of annotated genes are available at https://crisprdb.org, and incorporate both efficacy and specificity into the scoring algorithm. This stand-alone package for CRISPRDB utilizes the same algorithm to identify effective gRNAs for a user-submitted sequence. As currently designed, this package identifies the gRNAs but not possible off-target effects. Additional algorithms included with this program are CRISPRon, DeepHF, DeepSpCas9, sgDesigner, and TSAM.
