International audienceThe use of veno-arterial extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (VA-ECMO) has increased exponentially. Pulmonary congestion is a potentially life-threatening complication of peripheral VA-ECMO. Recently updated guidelines argue for a low threshold of left ventricular (LV) unloading.
