Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder since its inception has become a foremost diagnosed disability within the education system. This review seeks to examine the historical background, modern day prevalence, interventions, and the utilization of medications in order to target specific behaviors. This analysis also seeks to analyze how ADHD has become an over diagnosed disability. The review will investigate a case study following one student who has been diagnosed with ADHD and currently utilizing medication.
