Objective: The first aim was to retrospectively identify risk factors for the development of early severe preeclampsia (sPE) in patients with obstetric antiphospholipid syndrome (OAPS) who received conventional treatment (CT). The second aim was to evaluate the impact of hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) in preventing early sPE among a subgroup of patients considered at high risk. Methods: A total of 102 women diagnosed with OAPS and treated with CT since the diagnosis of pregnancy were selected. At the end of pregnancy, we identified risk factors associated with early sPE.
