Sequencing lean manufacturing practices inside and outside the company boundaries

Lean Manufacturing and JIT links with suppliers are methods to improve operational performances (e.g. efficiency and on-time delivery). Recently, researchers have begun to debate on the relationship between Lean Manufacturing, operational performances and JIT links with suppliers. This paper aims to investigate this relationship.
