The paper evaluates critically the task carried out by the Curricular Innovation Commission of the Law School of the University of Chile. It reports the historical background of the reform proposal, assessing it with special emphasis on those issues directly related to the lectures taught by the Department of La w Sciences.El trabajo efectúa una evaluación crítica de la tarea realizada por la Comisión de Innovación Curricular de la Facultad de Derecho de la Universidad de Chile.
