Numerical weather prediction (NWP) tools allow to forecast the wind field on geographical areas, up to 96h in advance and with a resolution of about 300m. This paper presents a multi-scale approach to increase sensibly the spatial resolution of the wind forecast in an area with sizes that are typical of wind farms installations.
