This article begins with a reflection on the implications that traditional theories on the mind-body relationship have in clinical and research practice. The solution proposed within a systemic-constructivist perspective is presented. If mind and body are no longer considered as two distinct realities, but rather as two constructions of an unique reality, attention is posed on (inter)personal experience and embodied knowledge. Uncertainty is considered as an embodied personal experience and it may be referred to space and time, which are the fundamental dimensions of human existence in a phenomenological framework.
