[EN] This paper analyzes the production of the Cuban writer Rodolfo Pérez Valero (Guanabacoa, 1947) after his arrival in Miami in 1995. It pays special attention to his crime fiction production, highlighting the social and experimental features of his works. In recent years, Pérez Valero has obtained on several occasions the first prize in the short story award of the Semana Negra of Gijón.
