Many artists, among others Magritte, Picasso, Lichtenstein, Mondrian, Kandinsky and Pollock, have extensively used Cu-Pc pigments over the past century. In ancient paintings, Cu-Pc pigments are sometimes present in the form of overpaints, providing evidence of recent conservation treatments.
