The Respiration of Scriptures. Can There Be Inspiration Without Expiration?

There is a theological problem with the traditional concept of the inspiration of Scriptures. It is a twofold problem: on one hand, the traditional concept of inspiration may lead to an inadequate sense of human possession of the truth; on the other hand, paradoxically, inspiration underlines an idea of the presence of God that tends to erase the presence of the human witness.
