Environmental pollution caused by anthropogenic emissions is a growing concern throughout the world; volatile organic compounds (VOCs) are the main constituents that make up the emissions. In handling VOCs, adsorption is considered the most efficient method to date. Engineers have been intensively studied the synthesis and usage of metal–organic frameworks (MOF) as versatile adsorbents for many types of VOC.
