Annotated translation of Leyendas del agua en México (selected chapters)

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to translate selected chapters from the book Leyendas del agua en México by the writer Andrés González Pagés with a preface written by Daniel Murillo Licea. The translation is made from Spanish into Czech. In the first, practical part, of the bachelor's thesis is the translation and in the second, theoretical, part there is a commentary on the translation. The commentary includes a fictitious translation order, general information and analysis of the source text, as well as deals with selected translation problems that occurred during the translation, their solutions and typology of translation shifts.
