Motivation of Elementary and High School Teachers for Further Vocational Education according to their Job Satisfaction

The bachelor thesis deals with the motivation of elementary and high school teachers for further vocational education and the extent to which this motivation is related to their job satisfaction. The aim of the thesis is to identify the job satisfaction of elementary and high school teachers in the Czech Republic, and how it correlates with their motivation for further vocational education. The beginning of the thesis is concerning a definition of the teaching profession - the work presents both general specifics as well as collected data and information concerning elementary and high school teachers in the Czech Republic. Furthermore, the work in the context of the teaching profession deals with the areas of motivation, job satisfaction and further vocational education. The work also presents previous research in the field of teacher work concerning the participation of teachers in further vocational education, their motivation for this type of education and job satisfaction of teachers. Furthermore, the work deals with the issue of job satisfaction and motivation for further vocational education.
