Trabalho Final do Mestrado Integrado em Medicina apresentado à Faculdade de MedicinaO lúpus eritematoso sistémico (LES) é uma doença inflamatória crónica autoimune, multissistémica e de etiologia multifatorial. Carateriza-se por uma grande variedade de manifestações que reflete o envolvimento de vários órgãos, entre eles o fígado. Os critérios de diagnóstico do LES não integram a disfunção hepática, contudo uma percentagem significativa de doentes desenvolve doença hepática na evolução da sua doença.
