[EN] Metamaterials are those that, through human engineering, have unusual properties that cannot be commonly found in nature. Recently, these metamaterials have been gaining importance due to the introduction of additive manufacturing technologies. Specifically, metamaterials known as lattice structures have advantages over bulk solid materials, such as increased strength and specific stiffness. However, in order to exploit these advantages of these exotic materials, we need robust and accurate tools to tailor and design their properties.
