Currently, the priority of sheep farms is the milk production. Therefore, youngs goats farming has been left behind. It is describe as a waste of time and low paying. The ValCabri Project, lead by the IDELE, has to found levers of action in order to respond at two main goals : revive kids fattening in farms and improve the rentability of this production. One of them is the crossing between dairy and meat breed. This crossing should help the developpment of this industry.
