Absolute transcript abundance of genes encoding upstream and downstream kinases of 5’-adenosine monophosphate-activated protein kinase (AMPK) in <i>Pectoralis major</i> muscle of fast- and medium-growing chickens at different ages.

The genes include (a) Ca2+/calmodulin dependent protein kinase kinase beta (CAMKK2), (b) liver kinase 1 (LKB1), (c) mechanistic target of rapamycin (mTOR), and (d) novel kinase family 1 (NUAK1).
