This paper introduces new isolated bridgeless boost-half bridge AC-DC converter. The operation of the proposed converter combines boost Power Factor Correction (PFC) rectifier with half bridge converter. The proposed converter circuit is able to achieve high input power factor without using full bridge rectifier circuit. This paper presents the circuit operation and preliminary simulation result of bridgeless half bridge converter using one transformer. This converter is verified using Matlab Simulink simulation with 240 Vrms line voltage at 56 V, 644W output condition
