The editor of the Australian Forest Grower, Geoff Wilson points out that there is a good body of knowledge about farm tree planting. This knowledge according to Mr Wilson is in the minds of practical men and women who have succeeded in getting trees into the ground. He suggests that we must always have more information to progress and that much more research and development work is needed on specific problems.
