This study examined staff motivation, discipline and performance appraisal as correlates of staff job performance in university libraries in Bayelsa and Rivers States. Three research objectives and questions were stated to guide the study. Three hypotheses were also articulated. The study adopted survey correlational research design involving a population of 356 staff in six university libraries.
