This study was pre-experimental research that aimed to describe the physics learning achievement and to know whether the average of physics learning achievement after taught by using problem based learning could achieve 75% of ideal score at X MIA 4 SMA Negeri 2 Majene in academic year 2014/2015. Independent variable in this study was problem based learning and dependent variable was physics learning achievement about temperature, heat and heat transfer. Data of research was obtained by giving test in the last meeting and the test results were analyzed using descriptive analysis and hypothesis test.
