One plant can be infected simultaneously by different pathogens. The efficiency of crop cultivar deployment to control disease dynamics in agricultural landscapes requires an integrated understanding of the multiple disease threats by considering a given crop and all its associated pathogens. Here, we explore the way in which pathogens and hosts characteristics can structure the spatio-temporal pattern of co-occurrences of six fungal diseases of wheat.
