International audienceSince the 1990s, museology and information and communication sciences have been working to define cultural mediation in museums. They came to consider cultural mediation with reference to human mediation, then to aesthetic, artistic, digital, technological, scientific mediations. Nevertheless, there is still an unexplored area in terms of museum devices and mediation that appeal to the senses (lighting, sound, touching, among others). Could we properly consider then a “sensory” mediation?
