Hypersonic vehicles are becoming more of a reality with the current level of technology. Concept vehicles are now being made in order to test the most recent advances in hypersonic technology. Along with models for flight testing, CFD has become an important role in the development of modern hypersonic vehicles. The technology in CFD is making more complex configurations and flow-fields available for simulation.
