All available test data on the standard hypersonic ballistic correlation models, HB-1 and HB-2, were examined to establish reference characteristics for use in the correlation of experimental results among the various aerodynamic facilities. The data presented are comprised primarily of static stability and zero-lift forebody axial-force coefficient results at Mach numbers from about 1.5 to 20 for a Reynolds number range from 0.01 to 2700000 based on centerbody diameter. Selected pressure distribution, dynamic stability, and heat-transfer data are included.
