This file contains the number of fellows in the Royal Society of London for each year from 1665 to 2015. It was created as part of the University of St Andrews project on the history of the Philosophical Transactions, pulling data from histories of the Royal Society, from annual reports and, in some cases, from the archive. Originally compiled by Noah Moxham (to 1847) and Julie McDougall-Waters (from 1848), and collated by Aileen Fyfe. </p
