Processamento cerebral da linguagem verbal em níveis hierárquicos: descobertas da neurociência

Based on the neuroscience of reading, I demonstrate the verbal language processing levels hierarchical nature. In order to recognize the processed entities, pairing with invariant units occurs encompassing any each class achievements, as long as they do not exceed the boundaries delimiting it as distinct from another. The lower the level, the smaller the paradigm elements number, the more closed to new ones inclusion, the more conditioned to the higher level, the more necessary its automation, therefore, less conscious and requiring less processing time. I will exemplify with the reading processing. The reading itself first level begins in the left occipital-temporal region, when neurons specialized through early literacy recognize the letter features. Then, the next level, letter recognition. Both levels are independent of the oral language, but the next one, the graphemes processing, is absolutely dependent on the oral language, as they represent phonemes, performed in syllables, which dynamically produce the phonetic changes resulting from co-articulation: when we read, even silently, we 'hear' our own voice in the inner ‘speech’. The next is the word level, with stress attribution, including clitics that do not have it. Baseada na neurociência da leitura, demonstro a natureza hierárquica dos níveis de processamento da linguagem verbal. Para reconhecer as entidades processadas, ocorre o pareamento com unidades invariantes que abarcam quaisquer realizações de cada classe, desde que não ultrapassem as fronteiras que a delimitam como distinta de outra. Quanto mais baixo o nível, menor o número de elementos do paradigma, mais fechado à inclusão de novos, mais condicionado ao nível superior, mais necessária sua automatização, portanto, menos consciente e requerendo menor tempo de processamento. Exemplificarei com o processamento da leitura. O primeiro nível da leitura propriamente dita começa na região occipital-temporal esquerda, quando neurônios especializados na alfabetização reconhecem os traços da letra. A seguir, o reconhecimento da letra. Ambos níveis independem da língua oral, mas o seguinte, do processamento dos grafemas, é absolutamente dependente da língua oral, pois eles representam os fonemas, realizados nas sílabas, as quais produzem, dinamicamente, as alterações fonéticas decorrentes da coarticulação: quando lemos, mesmo silenciosamente, ‘ouvimos’ nossa própria voz na ‘fala’ interior.
