In the attempt to assess the relevance of a high level international gathering, not only the output of the Summit – the final documents - should be evaluated. Also the outcome, meaning the overall political process, should be considered and further investigated. Apparently simple, the three questions posed in this article offer the opportunity to analyse the process, raise some of the issues that are directly concerned with the transformations of society that were the very object of debate in Geneva. It may be that the some of the concepts we use and the words through which we inhabit the world are also under transformation
