In marketing research it\u2019s very important to reduce costs and realization time of surveys. On this subject quota sampling can be really usefull provided that the researchers don\u2019t incur systematic errors. However it is possible to limit this kind of errors through prior knowledge of population parameters. In this study data obtained by means of quota samples are compared with those from stratified and simple random samples. The results show that quota sampling procedures secure a high level of accuracy
