De l'attachement mère–enfant à l'attachement fraternel : évolution des paradigmes de recherche

International audienceFor approximately three decades, the theory of the attachment has decentred bond mother-child. Whereas the relation of attachment father-child was largely documented in the scientific literature, the fraternal relation of attachment was forsaken and only was little approached. Our contribution thus pur sues the goal to specify how the paradigms evolved of the maternal primacy to the paternal figure, and how the fraternal relation can be examined from the point of view of this theory. From a review of the scientific literature carried out on the basis of three data bank, we will examine whether the brother, as a member of the family system, can be a figure of attachment, and we will specify the characteristics re lated on safety and exploration to define the sibling attachment.Depuis environ trois décennies, la théorie de l'attachement s'est décentrée du lien mère-enfant. Alors que la relation d'attachement père-enfant a été largement documentée dans la littérature scientifique, la relation d'attachement fraternelle a été délaissée et n'a été que peu abordée. Notre contribution poursuit ainsi l'objectif de préciser comment les paradigmes ont évolué du primat maternel à la figure paternelle, et comment la relation fraternelle peut être examinée du point de vue de cette théorie. À partir d'une revue de la littérature scientifique réalisée sur la base de trois banques de données, nous examinerons si le frère, en tant que membre du système familial, peut être une figure d'attachement, et nous préciserons les caractéristiques liées à la sécurité et à l'exploration pour définir l'attachement fraternel
