International audienceThis theoretical research discusses the role of classification in the construction of the critical memory of science. In the methodological scope, the study focuses on the period 1960-1990, the construction phase of the information-communication field in France. The research corpus is focused on the \emphRevue de Bibliologie and on the book \emphLes sciences de l'écrit: encyclopédie internationale de bibliologie.
