International audienceIn this paper is analyzed how the women's participation is represented in the archival holdings related to the Slavery and Abolition of Slavery in Brazil. The field of study was constituted of the archives of the Chamber of Deputies, the Federal Senate and the National Archives. The result points to the low visibility of records related to women's participation.La recherche analyse la manière dont la participation des femmes est répresentée dans les archives rapportant l'esclavage et son abolition au Brésil à partir des archives de la Chambre des députés du Sénat fédéral et des Archives nationales.
