International audience<font face="arial, helvetica"><span style="font-size: 13px;">Trombe walls are widely used in building thanks to their capacity to achieve energy efficiency using renewable power. This study aims to analyse the thermal performance of a Trombe wall coupled to a room. It is performed via a 2D CFD model to simulate the steady-state thermal behaviour of the Trombe wall. The CFD model takes into account conduction, convection and radiation transfers as well as airflow turbulence. After validation of the simulations using results from the literature, a parametric study with respect to the influence of the vents size and air gap depth on the system’s thermal efficiency is carried out.
