The book addresses the problem of design in the information society by focusing on two different domains of application: the technical and engineering domain and the instructional domain. Design problems are notoriously complex, \u2018wicked\u2019 i.e. they have no definitive or exhaustive formulation, and hardly affordable with rationalistic methods.
