Three-dimensional separation is an inherent flow feature in the blade-end corner of compressors passage, which is a primary source of entropy generation and loss. This paper researches the effect of key geometrical parameters (camber angle, solidity, dihedral angle of compound lean blade) and incoming condition (Mach number) on the evolution of corner separation in a low aspect ratio linear cascade. The underlying flow mechanism is explored in detail. The evolution of typical flow characteristics with the variation of inlet Mach number, camber angle and solidity is interpreted.
