Data used in this study were collected from August 2018 to March 2020 to investigate the impact of agricultural intensification on bee assemblages in the Afro-tropical drylands of Northern Tanzania. Two standardized sampling methods (UV-reflecting colored pan traps and standardized random walks) were employed to sample bees (Lasway et al., 2021; Prendergast et al., 2020). Twelve pan traps in four clusters (each cluster with three different UV-reflecting colors: white, yellow, and blue) were installed in each plot to passively collect bees (Classen et al., 2020; Elzay & Baum, 2021).
