Immune System: Where Defenders Live

This booklet is a didactic material complementary to the project of elaboration of puppets of cells and molecules of the immune system, prepared by the class of the 7th period of the Biological Sciences Degree course at the State University of Montes Claros, in the first semester of the year 2022 This project its primary objective was to stimulate students' creativity in the perception of the ''personality'' of the immunological components to apply to the development of the identity of each cell and molecule. However, the activity developed with so much involvement and love for the group, together with the originality of the proposal, gained new applicability perceptions, allowing the generation of other objectives. One of them is the use of this material (booklet and puppets) by teachers of basic education (in elementary school I and II), as an aid for the immunological theme in the field of sciences, providing lightness and diversification for contents that are very dense, and that generate distance and disinterest in students because they are considered abstract and difficult.
