Raw earth is a very old construction material whose use has grown in recent years because it meets current ecological, economic, and societal criteria. However, the properties of earth highly fluctuate depending on its composition. To determine the behavior of the material, an experimental campaign is currently necessary before any use. The objective of this thesis is to propose a non-linear homogenization model capable of predicting the properties of raw earth according to its composition. This model will thus facilitate the procedure for determining the suitability of a soil for use in construction.
