(A) Infectious progeny recovered at the indicated time from vaginal swabs after intravaginal inoculation of C3H/HeJ mice with wild-type C. muridarum (red triangles), or the incSCm::bla mutant complemented (purple circles) or not (brown squares) by addition of aTc to the drinking water. Each data point represents a mouse. Combined results from 2 independent experiments with 5 mice per group is shown.
