El presente trabajo tiene como propósito crear una solución computacional para analizar bloques de datos y organizarlos de una manera para poder sacar el máximo potencial. En nuestro caso, haremos un análisis sistemático de datos sobre transacciones de venta, con el fin de obtener una segmentación basada en el comportamiento de cada uno de los clientes, a través de un algoritmo de clustering. Previo a esto, se implementará el método RFM con el fin de discretizar las variables y facilitar la implementación del clustering, pues es mucho más sencillo encontrar puntos de corte cuando las variables son discretas.
