This article assumes a critical position with respect to the self-contained vision that continues to mediate the conceptions of culture and interculturality circulating in the academic and social space, despite the debates that have taken place since the eighties, promoted by anthropology, cultural studies and philosophy. In this regard, some considerations are recovered, highlighting those that emphasize the need to integrate frameworks of analysis that address the multiple processes of exchange that have operated at different scales and, from that place, to problematize the dynamics of power, inequality or asymmetry that mediate inter- and intra-group relations.
