Interactions corporelles mère/garçon et absence du père

We are attempting to show evidence of the importance of the physical interactions between mother and son (during the Oedipus period) on the construction of the corporeal unity and the personal identity of the child. Our research will be based precisely on a comparative study bet¬ ween boys deprived of a father, taking into con¬ sideration the causes of this deprivation, the age of the child at the time of the paternal loss, and the eventual presence of a substitute (Group 1 : the mothers being either single, divorced or wido¬ wed), and boys benefiting from a paternal pre¬ sence (Group G2). We are using a technique of comparing interviews from mothers and children from the two considered groups, interviews con¬ cerning fourteen defined situations in daily life. The physical interactions, on a quantitative scale, are aggregately no more numerous in G1 than in G2. However one can test the difference in their quality and advance the idea of a construc¬ tion of the personality in its problematic psycho¬ somatic unity for certain boys, notably those of Group Gl.Reinhardt Jean-Claude.
