This paper aims to analyze how individuals' willingness to pay for forests, trees and forest ecosystems differ as well as estimate country-level values through a benefit transfer function. WTP is significantly affected by the format of the survey design, whether the authors are valuing a gain or loss in forest area as well as the sample size and amount of forest being valued. We estimate country level WTP values ranging from $2.182019int. dollars per hectare per year in Grenada to $109.492019 int. dollars per hectare per year in Russia, providing vital information to policy makers
