Pollen analytical studies Medival villages Diepensee and Horno in Brandenburg, Germany

In close vicinity to the Medieval village Diepensee in Brandenburg and the Medieval village Horno severel pollen archives were investigated palynologically. Those from Diepensee (Kienberger Rinne) provide information on the development of settlement and vegetation from the early Medieval to modern times. They give inside into the agriculture of the Medieval villagers of Diepensee. Those close to Horno (Weisses Lauch, Pastlingsee, Grabkower Seewiesen, Maschnetzlauch, Torfteich Grabkow, Griessener Teich) cover part of or the whole Holocene.
