Mass media as a tool for spreading the standard language among Italians: the Italian language broadcast on television and changes in its structure over the years

Szczególną rolę w tym procesie odegrała telewizja, ponieważ w pierwszych latach jej istnienia transmitowano treści o charakterze pedagogicznym, a język, którym się posługiwano był poprawny i staranny, szczególnie jeśli chodzi o wymowę. Jednak wraz z biegiem lat zmieniły się cele telewizji, co wpłynęło także na obniżenie rejestru wypowiedzi i coraz częstsze pojawianie się form kolokwialnych czy dialektalnych.Mass media, which are the fruit of the technological discoveries of the 20th century, have significantly contributed to the spread of the standard language among Italians. A special role in this process was played by television, because in the first years of its existence the programs contained pedagogical contents and the language that was used was correct and neat, especially in terms of pronunciation.
