The boom of the English loan words in the Italian language in the period from 2019 to 2022

Praca stanowi studium zapożyczeń angielskich w języku włoskim, których gwałtowny napływ został zauważony wraz z początkiem pandemii zakaźnej choroby Covid-19. Analiza obejmuje lata 2019-2022 i dotyczy anglicyzmów pochodzących z czterech pól tematycznych: medyny, technologii, ekonomii oraz życia codziennego. Największa uwaga poświęcona jest aspektowi medycznemu jako że to jego terminologia została poddana najbardziej widocznym modyfikacjom w okresie epidemicznym.The thesis is a study of English loan words in the Italian language whose rapid influx was noticed with the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic. The analysis covers the period between 2019 and 2022 and comprises the anglicisms coming from four thematic fields: medicine, technology, economy and everyday life. While investigating the topic of the pandemic borrowings, the most particular attention was paid to the medical aspect, as its terminology underwent the most visible modifications during the epidemic period.La tesi è uno studio di prestiti inglesi che sono stati introdotti nella lingua italiana con l'insorgenza della pandemia di Covid-19. L’analisi copre il periodo 2019-2022 e comprende gli anglicismi provenienti da quattro ambiti tematici: medicina, tecnologia, economia e quotidianità. Nell'approfondimento del tema dei prestiti pandemici, l'attenzione è stata rivolta soprattutto all'aspetto medico, poiché è stata la sua terminologia a subire le modifiche più visibili durante il periodo epidemico
